Minam Apang (b. 1979)

Minam Apang received a full scholarship to study a Bachelors in studio art from Elmherst College, Illinois. During this time she had the opportunity of studying at the University of Leeds on an exchange programme in 2001. She completed her Bachelors in 2002 and came back to work on a Masters in Fine Arts at the J. J. College of Art, Bombay.
While working on her Masters she (along with her contemporary Himanshu S.) initiated the Lazy Rebels, an art collaborative that organised public lectures and films on contemporary western art practices. The Lazy Rebels also exhibited at various public and private sites in Bombay.
